Yeah, and to think the interior is still gutted and it needs some engine work. Also just picked up a front disc brake kit from a friend who up graded his, now a rear end. On a good note, remembered I have an extra set of 15" rims and tires for my Torino, one less thing to buy.

Looking for someone who can tell me the difference between a 289 and a 289 hipo head other than screw in studs and spring pockets

Rats, turned out to be 14". found a rear end at a junk yard, going to look at it Saturday. Its on a 66 Falcon. While there I'll look for some 15's.

On another note.. came up with an idea, insted of painting the dash, have the upholstry guy glue leatherette on it. I think that would look a lot sharper that just painted. any thoughts???

Kerry: you may try to start another post, it will draw an answer a lot faster.

Well the're 14". oh well. another idea.. going with an explorer rear end, that way I'll have 4 wheel discs, just a bit wider but in that case will go to some 16" modern rims and tires with a different offset. the ones off the 05+ V6 don't look too bad if they will just fit.
Well since its been a snowy winter the guys at the body shop have been crazy busy, which means my car has just been sitting. Now that things are warming up I hope things get moving agian.

tired some spacers with no luck, decided to go another option... getting an Explorer rear end put in it and decided to go with the 05 up 17" V6 spoke looking rims things will fit better and those rims are fairly cheap as people upgrade to 18s.

Well its been a while for an update..Had some other projects going on and the 66 has been sitting.
but starting to get to work on it again..
Lower rod berings are shot. So, picked up a 93 5.0 and ordered a Ford racing cobra intake for it. going for some new cams, UDP's and CAI.
Also droping in a OD tranny.
Sucks when you only have one day a week off to work on things...So many projects so little time...

Well a few things have changed, Still going with the 5.0, but now have a BBK SSi intake, UDP's, new cam and CAI. All still in boxes, still have the time problem.
Just put the carpet in, will be working on the interior little bits at a time. Waiting for the inside of the doors to be painted and those will go on with new weather striping and get the windows put in. that will seal up the interior to help keep the dust out. Once the dash is covered the radio will go in. Still need a few wires the hook up the amps ( yup 2, with a sub in the trunk, USA in the dash and 6 way Infinity speakers)

WTB-70+mm MAF for the 19# injectors. That SHOULD be the last stuff I need for the engine, will need an elect fuel pump too.

When I get something done in the next 6 months, I'll be back...lol

OMG..just went back and looked at the beginning of this thread, its been 5 years... WTF???
