New doors? Do they fit good? Sometimes these parts don't fit that well....

Latest up date.... its primed and sanded, now just waiting to get it in the paint booth. The guys at the shop have been busy so my car is sitting in the corner with a plastic sheet over it. Once painted I think the real work will begin, having it in parts for almost a year, I wonder if I can get it back together with out having to remove each part 4 or 5 times to plut on something I forgot. Rebuilt the heater box with new gaskets, blower motor and heater core. Also added silicone hoses so I don't ever have to do that again.

Yes, it never ends with these cars. Disc brakes are a good thing to have on your Mustang. I had those old drum brakes and it took about a block or more to stop. lol

Not sure if it has a color name, just spent some time looking at color chips before deciding on one then put an orange pearl on top. Still have gold pearl stripes going on top too with a clear coat. ... and lots of sanding...lol

Spent the day wet sanding with 1000 grit, don't think I have any fingerprints left but the car is looking good. still need to get the hood, front fenders and doors painted. but getting closer. One of the guys is now working weekends so I may start heading over then to move things along a bit faster.

I have a long way to go to get to where you are. I'm really thinking about orange, either as the main color or as stripes.
