Livewire
LiveWire,
OK, here are all of my specs that I think you need to do this.
426W
Bore= 4.032
Stroke= 4.190
CR = 10.55:1 could be a little higher with the 58cc heads, but thats ok.
AFR 205cc heads
Cam Small base circle Crane hydraulic roller. Part # 44hr00027
Grind # HR-230-359-2s-12-rf
Lift is 574 intake, 595 exhaust.
rocker arm 1.60
advertised duration is 294 / 302
duration @ 050 is 230 /238
I run a single plane Super Victor Jr manifold,
750cfm holley mechanical secondaries.
MSD distributer
Jacobs pro street ignition.
1 3/4" headers.
If I left anything out, let me know, I have my cam sheet with me today.
And thanks for the info!
That should do it!
Thanks again

LiveWire,
thanks for your efforts. It doens't appear that my cam is made anymore, maybe it is a special order one?
Here are my other specs on the cam sheet.
cam timing @050
Intake Opens 8 btdc closes 42abdc
Exhaust Opens 56 bbdc closes 2 atdc
Max lift is 107/117
Timing @ tappet
Lift .004
intake opens 36 btdc closes 78 abdc 294 duration
exhaust opens 84 bbdc closes 38 atdc 302 duration
All based on zero lash as well.
I hope that helps or check the Cam below.
This Trick Flow cam has the exact same lift just a little more duration than mine.
TFS-51402002 in summitt. that one would be better I think.

Holy Crap! I hope those are close to reality once this thing is back together!
There are a few chevy loving freaks that need to go down around here....
I will take it to the chasis dyno and we can compare numbers again after that.
Thanks again,
Joe

those are flywheel numbers so you should assume about 20% drivetrain loss but still very nice numbers

In my opinion Desktop Dyno is a little optimistic, at least thats what I found with my (much milder) build. This is a 357W (bored only), with 9.5:1, perf-rpm heads and intake, holley 750, 1-5/8 long tubes, 224/236 .506/.506 110O hyrdraulic.

Drivetrain parasitic loss can vary greatly, if you have a standard, and with such high output you could well see less than 20% loss. I am expecting 20+% on mine, the 9-inch rear and the AOD are gonna stink some ooomph for sure.
