Just Getting Started

Hello,

I just pick up a 1970 and got it home yesterday. Got if off the trailer and start in on it today. I was hoping that some of you could give me some input on a few thinks.

Parts, I know there are a few places to get parts on line like JC Pony and others. Is one really any better then the other ? Do any of them give you better pricing if set up and account and get all your part there ? How about better pricing on large orders, Like if I go over the car and get a list of all the stuff I know I need now and order it all at one time. could be a few K in one order ?

Parts other then from and online Mustang parts site. I need rear springs do I need to get them from a mustang parts site of can I get something like that from a local auto parts place ?

Thanks for any help on this you can give !

Nice! Keep us updated! Any more pics?

I honestly check Amazon first. CJ and jegs are both good.

Yeah I know the feeling - got mine this past summer. I'm about 5 deep on a list of about 200 things I want to get done to her. It looks like you've got a nice starting point, what are your plans?

Replacement parts are so readily available for our cars and they are so easily serviceable, there is no reason not to drive them (not like we have original 1 owner 800 mile GT350s or anything). Personally I'd focus on drivability first, that way you can have some fun with it as you work on the rest.

I'm probably a few weeks away from having mine back in the ground, if I could stop with the "while I'm at it" mentality! Should be just in time for spring!
