Well we finally brought the car home this weekend, what a relief I just wish it wasn't -15 degrees so we could get the front end aligned and take it on the highway, rather than puttin her to bed for 5 months :bang:

anyway, I thought I'd share a few photos of the car...it's sittin' a little high right now, and we still have to get wheels 'n rubber, and exhaust tips, but she's lookin pretty nice (the fluid on the floor is just water from washing it off):

just a little fun photoshopping it, lowered with some AR Hopsters:

Congrats. What did you end up doing with the lower side scoops? Hard to tell from the pic... and I hope you're going bigger on the Hopsters, they don't look right under 17"

For the side scoops, we just left it plain - no shelby scoops, no custom cut out fabrication....just the C-scoop in the fender.... as for the wheels, it's just free fun playin with photoshop..but I agree, I prefer this version much more:

My dad wants to stick with 15s all around, but we're not going to buy anything until next spring, which will give us lots of time to look at all there is out there, and for me to photoshop them on the car, and see what we like best.

Taking shape nicely. You've got all winter to make a good wheel-tire choice - TONS of options out there!

Very nice!

The two tone turned out nice on the interior. I don't know how you guys do the 5 month winter. Don't mean to rub it in, but I was cruising today in 70 degrees and sunshine.

Nice car, Bart! Just curious if you plan on leaving the rear side reflectors off (I prefer it that way on all but red cars)? Also, what's the story behind the "RSR silver bullet"?

BorninaFord: yes we plan on leaving the side reflectors off....as for the RSR - those are my father's initials. One day he was joking about Carol Shelby and how he has his name on these cars forever....and continued to say, "I wish there was a way that I could put my name on this car, shelby can't be the only guy to do it."

So later that day, I started sketching out ideas for the emblem, and finally came up with the design you see on the car. I worked with Steve at BilletBadges.com to get them milled out of solid billet, which they polished and painted as well.

Thanks for all the compliments, we're very happy with it too, the only thing we're PO'd about is the darn -25 degree temps we had over christmas, couldn't even roll it out for a quick picture... :bang:
