Insurance

Hey guys, I have been looking around and I did a search on here that came back with some info. It looks like some of the big names like Hagerty and Grundy have what I'm looking for, but I was wondering who you use to insure your first gen. and if you could point out some pros and cons while I'm shopping around.

This definitely won't be my daily driver, will be garage kept and only driven weekends part of the year once I fix a few things on it first. Here in CO we sometimes have a random weeks in the winter in the 70s, so it might be nice to quickly un-store and insure the car for a short period.

Any pointers you can give me are appreciated, thanks!

Evan

By the way, the initial Hagerty quote I received was $237/yr vs ~$800/yr from my existing policy...

I had an appraisal on my car. How picky are they on who does the appraisal? Will they accept the one I already have, or make me get one that they approve?
