Insalling a tach in a non-tach stang?

Our car does not have a factory tach, but it sure would be nice to have one..if I were to obtain one off of ebay, How involved is the process of installing it? anybody got a how-to or helpful hints?

Obviously you don't if you have no idea what it is. There is a special wiring harness for the tach. It runs of the ignition coil. You should pick up a wiring diagram for you model year, they are cheap and invaluable.
