I need help. I painted the dash of my 66 coupe today. I have the Blue & White pony interior. Upon inspecting the finished product, it's not the correct color.

The paint I use was Highway Classics "Classic Mustang & Ford Interior Lacquer". The color is 65/66 White Int. Paint. This paint came out almost a cream color (but not as dark as Parchment).

I purchased this paint through Texas Mustang. I gave them a call, and they said that they didn't have the correct white (eggshell?) I was looking for. They have a 69/70 Bright White, but they said it was too white to look good with my seats & door panels. They recommended that I have a paint shop mix me the correct color.

What does everyone use to paint the white dash on a 65/66 two-tone interior? Where can I get it?

I used the (pony) white paint from Natonal parts depot. It was the color you were looking for.

It's in rattle can but it worked great.

Yeah same here NPD's Pony White. Comes in a spray can.
Very Nice.

Thinking about doing the same thing to my car also.
Let us know how it turns out!
