Gas pedal travel

Right now I am upgrading from a 2 bbl to a holley 4 bbl. my question if anyone noes the answer is this the gas pedal as she sits doesn't have much travel. When driving my other sports car It has more travel and just feels like you have more control of the throttle. Is there a way to adjust the pedal so that I can have a bit more travel?

Can you shorten the linkage from the rod to the carb? Assuming it is stock setup. Does the carb throttle plate have full travel? Have you made the swap yet and is it different from the 2V, or you didn't like the 2V and anticipate the same feel?

I made the assumption you were not getting full throttle plate travel in which case shortening the linkage might help. If your pedal doesn't move enough to give you more control, shortening the linkage would make it worse.
