I plan to mount mine behind the drivers seat. I will make a bracket and use the seat frame mounting bolts to hold it in place. I figure I would have two thin bars that would slide under the seat but above the carpet, replacing the plates that are there now.

Justin what size is the extinguisher? Is it a 2 lb?

In all honesty being a vol FF and all I would suggest getting a five pound class ABC dry chem extinguisher. They do make ones that cover class D which are your combustible metals, but you don't have anything that would need that in your car to my knowledge.

The reason I suggest a 5 lb extinguisher is the fact that the 2 lb ones really won't do much.

I put mine between the front seats, but slid it back to the back seat so it doesnt get in the way of anything. looks really good there too. You can kinda see it in the picture...sorry...dont have any better ones.
