Yes sort of. I took Ronnie's custom console which is in a long version and made it for a shorty.
Danno,

Do you have any info or link for the console you refer to in that quote?

That looks really good. I especially like the console. I am still threatenig to make mine. With my darn 6 speed sifter coming up where it does it makes it difficult. I think Blake and I are on the same time table
LOL, I just knew that was coming.

I had actually made some progress on fabbing mine when I had to go back to the drawing board when I decided to go with that darn tunnel-mounted e-brake.

Nice work Danno. Are you going to hookup the power, or use them manually?
Is height a problem?
Ever wanted to take back a stupid comment...I need to change the seat pan height. I made my adapter plates and my massive 5'9" body hits the top of the headliner. I need to lower the front by ~ 2" and the rears by an 1 1/2". I was told to move the pan back ~1". :bang:

Dan,
I was just about to post a question of how tall you are? Because when you said you did not need to adapt the pans at all I assumed you were 4' 8" which would make climbing ladders difficult
