When ordering a new one all you gotta know is the year and size of the motor. Looks like its over due for a K and N filter. Your local hot rod shop should help you out with that!

You can pretty much throw any air cleaner on that you like, just as long as it fits the top of the carburetor and you can cram it under the hood. (Or in some cases, as long as you can see the road if it gets to be that tall XD). The K&N filter is a plus too.

Yeah I was looking at the k&n one one cj pony parts. I just wasn't sure if there were any specifics needed to be known other then engine size. Pretty sure it's a 302 but not 100% sure. And is 100$ an average price for one of those k&n ones?

B4 u put money in I would do a compression check to determine if parts r gonna do anything in the 1st place. If ur compression is good on all cylinders then proceed w part replacements like plug/wires, oil filter/oil, coolant, etc. Replace those front brake lines as well. There prone to swelling and look like originals in ur pics. K&n air filters r badass but there r knock offs for much less. Its easy to throw money @ a car, just try to do it wisely and get help if u can from friends (especially if they have tools u dont).
