Dual exhaust on straight six?
Dual exhaust on straight six?
Hey,
I have a '65 with an inline 6 and want to do dual exhaust going through the rear valance. Can any one tell me if there is any kind of kit, give me any advice, or tell me if this is possible?
Thank You!!

here are a few shots of the duel heads both out and installed. I had them Jet coated also.
From the heads back the drivers side pipe has to be custom bent around the transmission, from there on back the muffler shop can follow a 289 pattern for both side.
As for the rear valence, that would have to be either a replacement part or drill through the valence. I just had mine run under the valence.

Put one on my 66, with a pair of flow master 40's. Guy at the muffler shop liked the sound so much he put a pair of chrome trumpet tips on at no charge. Said it sounds like a loppy v8. best sounding 6 he has ever done.
