I look on Collector Car Trader Online everyday to see if there are any good deals out there. Well, I have come to notice that when the cars go up on that site they get sold quick. I called this morning about a '68 w/ a 302. Check it out if you want.He already sold it to a guy who gave him more than what he was asking for, and is picking it up this afternoon. :bang: Oh well, that is a pretty nice turnaround. Sorry for the rant, I'm just getting a little frustrated.

Wow Thats a great price too! He coulkd have probably asked for upwards of 6 or 7 and gotten it easily. You'll find the right one Dave. They're such a hot commodity right now!

Update...I went and looked at the car on Saturday after work. I guess the sale fell through. Well, I found out why that car was so cheap. There was a lot of rust, and when I say a lot I mean A LOT. They had repainted the car 2 years ago and the rust had already bubble up the paint all over the place. It seemed there was a lot of work to be done. Some rust would have been o.k., but I think I can find a body that I wouldn't have to cut up as much. Anyways, I am gonna call again today to see if it's still for sale and put an offer on it. Wish me luck.

I got my car off of classicautotrader.com. I saw the add two hours after it was up. The po said that after I call to say I was coming to get it he got five more calls before he went to be. Funny thing is I should have picked it up the day my daughter was born. I had to call him and get it two days later. He was cool about it. I gave him what he wanted. No questions, after I checked it over real good. I have a nice car now. Still needs work but you got to get one to work on one.

Richard.

I found my 72 Grande on Collector car trader online. I was the first of two people to look at it the day I set up with the PO. I made a verbal contract with him contingent on my wife's approval. The next guy was willing to pay asking price as well, but since I had driven further and was the first one there, he gave me a couple of days to close the deal.

There are some pretty nice cars on that site.
