When we first stumbled on this original ’66 Shelby GT350H for sale on Craigslist, we thought someone had mistakenly added one too many zeroes.

Boy, howdy, that's a big 'maybe' on the worth it...

They're goin' for 100-150K easy, seems, for a 1 of 1000 production car.
So if you got it for 70K or less, then put a lot of personal elbow grease into it to save the cash (like I would), then yeah, it'd probably be worth it.
If you have to outsource everything, then no, it's not.
That's also assuming things that can't be found are on the car too. If that's the case, then probably not at that point, as you'll spend yourself into stupid trying to obtain the unattainable.
All that said?
Want.

It's got to be a case of one too many zero's, no one in their right mind would pay more than $8K for that pile, regardless if it one of 1000. By the time the restoration was complete, very little of that car would be original.
Someone is on some good meds!!
