Back in the saddle

Evening. Just trailered my baby home after being without it for almost 10 years. Man I'm I pumped! Any Old Mustang clubs and/or owners here from east TN?

If I remember correctly, I got the seats out of a '85 Mustang GT.

I gotta ask, what happened over the ten years? Did you sell her ten years ago and buy her back?

You are absolutely right. I own a small business and needed to retool and it was gonna cost some $$$$ and this was the only way. My wife cried the day I sold it. The good part was that my dad is the one that wanted to keep it in the family, so he found a way to buy it and help us both out. Just this last weekend I trailered down a Lincoln i had redone, that he wanted to trade.

Btw, does anyone know if nitrous goes bad? The way I got it figured, there's about a half bottle in there that's about 10 years old.

Lol, I get that allot. Me & my wife are showing our age I reckon, as that's the way it was done back then.

lol, i guess i am more modern, i prefer the 18-19 inch rims with flush tires to the body, id rather tub the body than have wheels stick out.

Forgive me, but between "getting older" and being out of the whole hot rodding thing for almost 10 years.....WTF is a "Halo" headrest? Lol They're what came on a '85 Mustang GT seat is all I know.

Hahahha it's just when the headrest has the center hollowed out, giving the look of a Halo I guess. I think that year came with them. But no yours aren't halos, thank you for the pics
