All metal reproduction body?

Was an all new metal reproduction body ever released for the Mustang (68 I believe)? I know the Camaro was released last year and I know the Mustang was next in line. If anyone has new information about this please post it here!

Thanks!

From what I heard there was going to be a 67/8 fastback and a 69 fastback. The first one was the convertable Camaro, I've just read in Hot Rod that the Camaro coupe is now availabe too.

That takes all the fun out of restoring these old beasts. I guess if you're pressed for time it'd be great.

Dynacorn Bodies

Dynacorn/dii displayed their new complete body at SEMA, it is a 67 mustang F/B...not a 68, Includes complete tub, doors, trunk lid, no fenders or Hood. Price according to Asian gentleman (son of owner) I spoke to, $13,500 usd + shipping.

Next up for them, 65 Mustang F/B complete body w/doors and trunk lid, after that the 70 Mustang Sportsroof, I asked just to satisfy myself, will it be a 69 mustang, 'No', stated the gentleman, we've settled on the 70 for production.

As far as the 69 Camaro coupe, it's already out and many companies doing buildups, Detroit Speed and Engineering is doing several for customers. LS6 engine optioned cars with 6 speeds are in the $125 to $140,000 and the LS7 427 optioned 6speed Holinger sequential trans with all the custom one-off interior and drive train starts at $150,000 and up. The tranny alone is a $15,000 option.

Cars done by the 'do it yourselfers' in their garages will never bring the money that cars built by the big boys, Foose, Coddington, Detroit Speed, Year One and Ring Brothers will.
