hey Guys,
Any idea what would cause a 65 stang to run hot, only while driving over 60 or while the A/C is on? The water pump, radiator, thermostat are all new. Perhaps a leaky head gasket? Any other thoughts?
Thanks,
Eric

I agree. Put it up on ramps, take off the rad cap, start it and let it warm up. Raising the rad up usually lets the air work its way out.

What kind/size rad? Aluminum? 3 or 4 core?

Are you running a shroud? At speed, the air may move around your rad without going through it and cool things off. AC's need a shroud too as you are, basically, pulling air through TWO radiators to cool off your engine and your R-12/134a.
