65 headlight harness upgrade

65 headlight harness upgrade

Has any one done the headlight harness upgrade on your 65?
What was your results? Did it make your lights brighter?
Any problems?

I don't know what you mean by "upgrade." Do you have a link? I have a '66 and have to replace the switch due to a weak circuit breaker, but I'm curious about the harness upgrade.

Indeed, relays and the ECE compliant replacement lamps are the way to go.

These lamps aren't sealed beams, they have replaceable bulbs.

OK, you're talking headlamp upgrade with the necessary wiring changes. My understanding is that with the available relay kits, you don't need any wiring upgrades. I'm not ready to spend the money yet for the lamp upgrade. I hear great things about them though. Even halogen sealed beams are pretty lame.
