As the project progressed, Matt decided he wanted to chase the Goodguys Street Machine of the Year award, and that requires a car to not only be pretty, but also fast on an autocross. That prompted a very trick front and rear suspension using pushrod-activated coilovers (less unsprung weight and they look neato), and a bunch of power. JME Enterprises and Maier Racing took care of the former and Jon Kaase handled the latter. Kaase's contribution was one of his Boss Nine reproductions for Ford Shotguns. With 805 hp and an excessive amount of rubber on the road, this car should run with the best of them. Matt hopes it runs away from the best of them.

wow! Thats a beast!
