This car has been in magazines?????? What magazines? Archie comics????? Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should. :bang:

And perhaps the most disturbing of all the comments:
THIS CAR STARTED LIFE AS A FAST BACK
 :bang: :nono: :notnice:

I'm not sure whats worse, the fact that they ruined a fastback, or those fugly seats they put in the caruck.

Whats up with the tailights. Are they from a falcon? It might not be so bad with stang taillights!

Both Falcon and Ranchero had that kind of tail-lights.

Yuck, It reminds me of a 4WD Mustang back in the 70's. Ugh...

What, you ain't never seen a Mustang grafted onto the bottom of a Bronco? Heck, they even did it to a Shelby GT500KR convertible in The Thomas Crown affair.

That's the best medicine. We would all do well to block such atrocities from our memmories.

i could see it being cool, but it would take some major surgery. i think the taillights and the "bed" are what kills it, otherwise it looks ok. i once saw a fairmont that had been turned into a ranchero and it lookd pretty cool. i'd like to do one like that someday, but not a mustang.

Ford thought of reviving the Ranchero based on the Fairmont chassis and had a few built. The new name... Ford Durango
