Meeting a guy Friday for him to look at my 200 I6. Once I sell it parts will be ordered and 302 will be bought. So if everything goes according to plan the V8 swap will be done the first weekend in December.

Sounds good. Do you have a 302 picked out already?

Would it make sense to call him about his 302 and see if he'll do some kind of hold on it for like a week so you can get your funds together?

I have enough to buy it now, just waiting. I don't think he would sell it by then anyway unless he is advertising it at his work. There are others for sale though, so if his does sell I'll buy another.

Well, no engine got sold or bought these past 2 weeks. I have figured out paint color, rims, and received parts.

Paint- Candy Blood Red
Rims - Chrome 17x8 and 17x9 Bullitts
Parts - 1 1/8" sway bar showed up, 1" drop coils ship out friday or saturday, and spray on tint shows up tomorrow.

Here is a pic of the color. I am going to get mine a little darker though. It is a stage 3 paint with a base coat of silver.

Wow! That's an intense red all right!

When are you going to paint it?

I really have no idea now. It is too cold for me to work on the body and I still have work to do. I'm guessing not until it warms up a little.

Drop coils were installed today. They raised the front about 2 inches, so hopefully they will settle down and drop another inch or so. Definitely helped out the suspension though.

Well that's good. The rear end on my 65 was in the air by quite a few inches when I got my new leaf springs, but it setteled down after a few weeks.

Yeah, I liked those too. I almost got some for my 08 GT, but I wasn't sure they would fit.

What do you think about Shelby Razors? I know where I can get a set of them in 16x7.5 for only $126 each. That is cheaper than any of the rims I have considered and I also like these. The ones I would get would be silver in color with a chrome lip.
