Nice! I've had a soft spot for little blue coupes for as long as I can remember (plus, that was my first car) One piece of advice I have would be: ditch that Fram oil filter. Heard some bad stuff about that brand in general.

Hello everybody, I'm Sleeper, and I'm new to this site. Seems like I found my second home. I'll post a couple of pics of my '66 coupe, and '90 coupe as soon as I can.

Not really new to the site, just don't post in the classic area much. Here's my baby:

Hello all, some beautiful cars here...

my '65 was originally a car my friends and i were restoring for my father, but when he lost interest i jumped on the chance to buy it off him... its set up for the twisites which is quite the opposite of my strictly 1/4 mile fox body. It sports a forged eagle 331, edel jr heads, edel jr intake, custom ground, 650, T5z, strange 9", 4 whl disc, 12 gal fuel cell, custom 1 3/4 longtubes, homemade side exhaust..... my last combo made 333rwhp/370rwtq, but this new setup should be just under 400 rwhp and it will see a small shot here and there.

nothing too pretty right now, but will go under the body resto knife next winter. heres the only dirty shot i have of my two money pits...

I've been active on some other Mustang BBS/forums for years, but I'm a newbie on Brad's site. Here's a recent shot of my "never ending" project (large picture alert for dialup users).

Heheh, yeah well... It's amazing what a fresh start can do for you. This place is less active, but it's also not filled with more tools than Sears.

Brad used to post over there a lot too. But he sorta dissapeared after the fire, I was wondering where he went.

That's how I found this place. Friends with Brad, interested in 05 info (and it doesn't get better than here for 05 info), and I just couldn't leave. I should be ordering my 05 in a few weeks

Anywho, enough of the hijack of the intro thread, welcome aboard Edbert.

I have been posting over on the 05 forum for a month or so now, so it is time to formally introduce myself over here! I have had my 66 fastback since my 16th birthday (Thanks Dad!) but have just recently bought a house (really just wanted the garage!) so I could bring it home. I am in the s l o w proccess of "finishing" the 66, but it's in good enough shape now to enjoy. It's pretty bone stock, not even the hi-po engine. But of course, all this can change ... hehehe (mad scientist laugh)

The '05 is obviously the newest member of the family and is AWESOME. Unfortunately, it is so great it takes me away from the 66! The puppy in the picture is a peace offering to keep the MOST WONDERFUL AND UNDERSTANDING WIFE ON THE PLANET happy. (Read: off my back LOL!) The pup's name is, of course, Mustang Sally.

Glad to be here, and most of all, glad to also be TEXAN! I imagine I'm the only subscriber from the independent state of West Texas though. If I'm wrong, I would love to know!

Thanks for letting me write this novel!

I also own an old one and an 05, other than the running horse in the grille (and a V8 with solid rear axle) they are barely related to each other. Interesting photo you took, I like it! There are two things that stand out in that photo for me, first is how large the 05 is, second is that you are about 12 feet tall. I know most Texans are tall but...DAAAAAMN!
