Ford Motor Co. released its sales figures for September 2010 and saw a slight increase over August 2010 sales (approximately 3%).  However, the more impressive number was when you compare September 2010 sales of 5,760 with September 2009 sales of 4,917.  That’s an increase of just over 17 percent year-over-year. In addition, through the first nine months of 2010 Ford has sold 58,854 Mustangs compared to 51,680 last year, an increase of 13.8 percent.
