During a surprise birthday bash on July 4, he celebrated American muscle by giving away Mustangs in red, white, and blue.

We are wondering if Kaywin Martin would consider adopting us? Martin is a huge Mustang enthusiast. To spread that pony car love, he recently gave each of his three children the best gift ever: a brand-new Mustang. The world’s coolest dad wanted to celebrate his 80th birthday and the Fourth of July with a surprise that embodies all things American.

“This is a very patriotic time of year, between Memorial Day, the 75th anniversary of D-Day and the 4th of July holiday, so I thought it was fitting to commemorate my 80th birthday in a patriotic way,” Martin told CNY Central. “We’re celebrating America with an American icon.”

Martin pulled off the surprise at his own birthday party which was held at the Early Ford V-8 Foundation Museum in Auburn, Indiana. Martin is very familiar with the museum, having worked with them in the past to improve and restore their collection. As he partied with friends and family, he invited everyone outside revealed the red, white, and blue ‘Stangs. Then he blew their minds by letting his children know that they were each receiving one of the Mustang GTs.

The Mustang GTs (in Race Red, Kona Blue and Oxford White) are all convertibles, with a 5.0 liter V8 engine under the hood.

Martin developed his taste for the muscle cars during his lifelong career working at Ford. The enthusiastic collector has owned over 200 cars throughout the years. Of course his most valued cars are Mustangs, of which he has owned over 20. One of his favorites is his 1965 red convertible Mustang.

And the generosity doesn’t stop there. According to Power Nation, this isn’t Martin’s first time gifting a vehicle. The incredibly giving man has spread the Blue Oval love and gifted eight Fords to people over the years.

Does it get any cooler than someone who loves Mustangs so much he gives them as gifts? We think as a friend, father, Ford man, and Mustang fan, Kaywin Martin is a total badass.
