I want to replace the Mach 460 rear seat panel woofers/tweeters in my 1998 GT convertible.

The woofer is a six-inch round speaker. The tweeter appears to be the same size as the ones used for the more prominent Mach 460 tweeters in the front of the vehicle. From what I've found using AI the Mach 460 is expecting 6 ohms on the speakers.

I've found a lot of information on Mach 460 rear oval speakers. I'm not 100% sure but I think that since I have a convertible my rear woofers are round. I've seen a lot of talk about oval shaped speakers, but I'm looking right at them and they are definitely round. Note the photo. My best guess is this is a difference between the coupes and the convertibles?

Can anyone point me to a modern replacement set of speakers - again each side has both a round woofer and a tweeter set into a separate plastic speaker encasement/mounting box. Link to a web site with them offered would be a huge help.

Any automotive stereo shops near you? Many of them can recommend/supply good (or better than) original replacements.
