Should I drive it or trailer it?
Well it looks like my car that was built back on Feb 17th has finally shipped. I now have a rail car # and everything, I can't believe it. Lol! Anyways, what I want everyones oppinions on is whether to drive my car home from the dealer or trailer it. My dealer is 1,000 miles away from where I live, and when my car was originally due to arrive on Mar 9th the thought to drive it home had not even crossed my mind. But now that it will be the mid to end of April and the weather is great, I am thinking of road tripping it home. The allure of breaking it in on the mountain roads across North Carolina sounds like a lot of fun. Let me know all of your opinions on what you would do.

I would have had it drop shipped to a local dealer but it's too late for that now. Drive it and take a video camera along to document the trip. Memories to last forever.

My first thought was trailer, but I really think you would enjoy it much much more at the end of a long trip if you drove it. Drive it for sure!

memories are not made on a trailer!
The only reason I trailer my GT500 (or my new LS when it comes) is to get it home from the track if I bend it!
Otherwise, every good memory my family has is from road time!

I've made the drive from northern IL to South Carolina in a car by myself. Now it wasn't a sports car by any means, but the roads in North Carolina make me say that you need to drive it home. The scenery was just awesome, plus those winding roads are just awesome to drive on in an '05 grand am, so it would have to be that much better in your brand new boss I say drive it 100%...it's what the car is made for. But with a 1,000 mile+ drive, it really comes down to how much you do or do not enjoy driving. So that is where I would base my decision...is it something that you think sounds enjoyable?

Drive the wheels off.
