Issue has been ongoing. Under heavy load/low RPMs I hear a rattle/clanking. I can only bring my car to one dealership, the dealership I picked it up from (thanks to the lawsuit). Well after only being able to deal with them, and seeing as how my car has been serviced sixteen times for a total of 152 calader days, I've come to the conclusion that they're not very competent. First they told me the noise I was hearing was gear roll over and that it was completely normal. Not believing the bull**** they were spewing I brought the car to two transmission specialist. Both trans shops, one of which the dealership uses, immediately recognized the noise as an issue and both advised me to return to Ford to have it repaired under warranty. With paperwork from the two trans shops, I returned to the dealership and insisted it was not normal. They told me that unless I could prove otherwise, there was nothing they could do. So I took a senior tech, convinced them to drive a newer mustang/same specs and compare. Sure enough, they retracted all previous statements and agreed my car had an issue. It's been sitting for two weeks now at the dealership. No work has been done, no parts have been ordered. I've been contacting them every few days, not the other way around. What's going on?




By the way, just a little update. My lawsuit is over, I won. The car was considered to be in breach of both Lemon Law and Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act. I was awarded a buyback, but I counter-offered and settled. I'm happy with the outcome, this just needs to be said so Deysha can help me. LAWSUIT OVER.
