I just hope I get it before my $750 off expires July 10th. Between x-plan and the $500 plus $750 I feel like I am getting a great deal on an in demand car.

Sticker is $36600

xplan + discounts is $33064

I ordered my car through the dealers fleet manager, and when he pulled up the $750 rebate in Vincent, it showed that the rebate has been extended until September 1 if I remember correctly.

Yup that is correct.

Now only if I can get a brochure that actually has the rebate in it

After going 6 weeks without a VIN, I called Ford CS, which, in turn, had the Ford regional rep call me.

During my conversation with him, I specifically asked him whether Ford would honor my $750brouchure "private offer" and he confirmed that Ford would, even though I think it expires in July.
He specifically asked me to get a copy of the dicount offer to the dealer.

The program for the coupons may have been extended but each individual customers coupon has its own expiration date.

According to my dealer, they will honor them. You might have to order a car before they expire, though.

Well, that's good info to know. I've been worried about that myself. Also, I'm a little concerned about the $500 rebate.

Will that also be extended since I don't think I'll get the car before July?

I sent an E-mail to my Sales guy to confirm. I hope that this is true.

Does your dealer have anything like this posted on their website? The reason I ask is because Westway has a pop up when you search the inventory which has the $500 rebate. It may just be for the dealership but you just fill out the form and hit submit to get the discount. I would let your dealership know what's going on at the competition. Also check with internet sales.

Just a thought!

No, the $500 rebate is a Ford rebate, not a Dealer by Dealer thing.

They extended the deadline for it once already, so they proably will agian. At least I think they will.

No, I realize the $500 rebate is a Ford rebate. I was just presenting a little leverage for dealer competition. It seems like the thing on the Westway site is an Internet Sales voucher that is good for an extra $500 off for 7 days after you fill out the form and print it out. Don't know if that would still be worth a try at negotiating with your dealer next time or not. Just trying to help out.

Thanks, but I've heard bad things about Westway Ford. They like to pull bait and switch on you. But, they may have changed....

Yeah, I'm not sure, I haven't heard good things about any local dealer. I just want to have all the tools I can.

Well, I doubt that I'll be able to get a better deal then the one I already have. I just want to get the discounts that I've already got. It's not my fault that Ford is holding onto my car for going on two months.
