couldnt find this in the forum...

I found the live axle driver side covered in a bit of oil (not alot, but enough to lubricate your fingers), i reached over to the top section of the shaft, i can feel something like a loose lid on and it seems to be where the oil is coming from, the "lid" does not tighten, it free-spins.

not sure if that's a breather port of some kind, or i just have an oil leak from the live axle?

It's the breather valve.. there is a TSB on it.. It was probably just overfilled at the factory! Don't worry.. Just keep an eye on it.

they seem to have overfilled my brake fluid too, i get a bit of oil sitting outside of the reservoir under the fill cap...

What Cavero said... my valve was also leaking, take it in and get the new, updated model. It took all of 45 minutes for them to replace it, and also change the diff fluid. This is a no cost repair to you. Print the TSB and take it in with you.

Late reply but follow there advice. I did my suspension and saw the same thing (pretty heavy leakage) and was like #%!^*!!^##&$"@!!. I brought it in told them my rear end was leaking from the vent cap and said I "think" there's a TSB (they get their panties twisted if you act like you know their job too much lol) and they fixed it no problem.
