$750 Brochure Rebates on 2011 Mustang

Since this came up on another topic and generated a lot of interest I will make a new topic.

The $750 Brochure Rebate Coupons now beeing mailed out are now for 2010/2011 Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles excepting some hybrids and limited production vehicles like the GT500. I received one Friday the 4-23 and confirmed it on Smart Vincent with my 2011 Mustang VIN.

1. Go on Ford Vehicles.com and order a paper snail mail Brochure. They usually take 10-14 days. I ordered a 2010 Mustang Brochure because 2011 brochures are taking about twice that due to demand.
2. Select 0-30 days for time frame before buying.
3. If you have received a Brochure Rebate Coupon before order the brochure using another household members name (Rebate Coupon is household transferable only) or your middle name as Ford only sends one coupon per person.
3. It is combinable with all public incentives (Like Low APR or $500 Bonus Cash) but not Private Ones (Like Millitary $500).
4. It is not usable with A/Z/D Plans but is usable with X-Plan
5. Mine is good for 60 days form the day they printed and mailed it.

PS If you have a 2011 coming in and already have a 2009/2010 Brochure Rebate Coupon that is still good I would call the dealer and have him run a Smart Vincent using the Program ID (33142) and your Customer ID (On Coupon) with your VIN as it may work.

Awesome, thanks for the tip!

Is there a residency requirement? I'm asking on behalf of the cross-border shoppers.

Thanks for posting this up Gene! I'm gonna time it just right. I think as soon as I get my vin I should order the brochure. That'll give me just enough time for the car to come in and be within 60 days of receiving the coupon.

No idea! Im not a dealer.. I think the dealer would be the one that could most easily tell you or perhaps Customer Service at Ford.

Sorry I couldnt be more help.

I already ordered my 2011. Can I still use this now? On top of 500 cash back and 0% financing?

I don't think the $500 cash back AND 0% can be used together but this can be used with other offers. I guess it all depends on what the $500 is for.

I got the same offer Gene is referring to but it referred to 09/10 model years and expires 6/14. I guess I'm an over-achiever except this MAY not work with my 2011.

It specifically says "take retail delivery by <insert expiration date here>" So ordering isn't retail delivery. If the car comes in within this window, the discount will apply.

So if the coupon expires at the end of June and my car arrives before then I can use the 750 rebate?

I just ordered the brochure. Was probably being hasty. I guessed I'm screwed if my car isn't done within the next 60 days or so!

What's weird is my program ID is the same as Gene's but for different model years. I hope they honor it for the 11's. In the mean time, I've ordered a new brochure. Or two.

Don't know what coupons any of you all got but mine says "***$750 on a new 09/10 Ford, Lincoln or Mercury"

It also says "Take new retail delivery from dealer stock".

This means the coupon won't apply to 2011 cars and is only good for cars that are already on the dealers lot.

This is great if you are looking at a new 2010 but won't do you any good for a 2011.

That's the same as mine -- you're right about the "dealer stock" part. Maybe the dealer won't care as long as it's in the Smart Vincent system.

Yeah, the point of the coupon is to help get rid of old existing dealer inventory.

So what happens if you "cancel" a retail order because they won't honor it? Then the retail order becomes dealer stock right? Then the coupon would be good. At least in theory.

No, it states that it is for 09/10 so it doesn't cover 2011.

Gene's says 2011. So I think we may have got ours "early". But let's say we had one like his that has the 10/11 model year deal . . . would my theory work?

This will work for me. My dealer ordered my car as dealer stock lol. I'll just be sure to order the '11 brochure so that it applies to the '11.

I just got mine in the mail, ordered it on the 23rd so it should be the latest one out there and it specifically is for 09/10.

Now, maybe they are different for different parts of the country.

I also ordered a 2011 brochure and we'll see how long it takes to get here and if there is a coupon on it or not.

These are not the same brochures that you get at the dealer so any shortages of dealer brochures won't make any difference to these.

Also, any dealer is free to make whatever discount they want and may apply this discount to a 2011 whether it actually applies or not.
