In 1968, Ford built an icon. They didn’t know it then, but the 1968 Fastback Mustang would become synonymous with the very essence of cool.

You’d know this if you have ever watched the film Bullitt. Steve McQueen, undeniably the king of cool, appears in the film, but he’s not exactly the star of the show. Anytime anyone mentions Bullitt, they don’t think of McQueen first, they think of the Dark Highland Green ‘68 Mustang Fastback and the epic chase around San Francisco. Over the years, other Bullitt Mustangs have popped up. Even Ford made a tribute car in the early 2000s. But none are as cool as an original.

On this week’s /Big Muscle, Mike Musto drives one of the coolest original Bullitt Mustangs ever, through the deserts of Dubai. And as the description for the video notes, “Who knew that a great tribute to the hero car in Bullitt would be in Dubai?”

The clip below shows Musto just being Musto, with some killer burnouts, and camels to boot. Take a look.
