And Father Said to Son, “Let Thee Become a Gearhead!”

Look at this kid’s face. Just look at it. When’s the last time you were that purely happy? Hopefully, it was the last time you were able to really drive your car. After all, that’s why everybody’s here, right? The love of all things with a motor and wheels?

For some, that love grows from a toy or a TV show, but for this lucky kid, his father got those racer-senses tinglin’ early. This pass in a Mustang, during which the kid gets a feverishly joyful look plastered across his face, took place at KD Dragway in South Webster, Ohio. It’s safe to say the boy enjoyed playing passenger, and is well on his way to becoming a gearhead.

Now, there’s certainly some reason to worry about why neither of them are wearing any sort of protection. There’s also reason to believe the track isn’t so irresponsible, seeing that they let this happen on its grounds — if indeed there were an actual threat. Maybe the Mustang wasn’t that fast, but it never hurts to be overprotective, especially when it’s somebody else’s life, and especially if it’s a child’s life at hand.

Still, look at this kid’s face!
