Appetite for Tire Destruction: The Best Mustang Flybys & Burnouts!

By -

Finally, a video of Mustangs leaving Cars & Coffee without any carnage…unless you count those poor Michelins and Goodyears.

For many of us in colder climates, we’ve still got a few more weeks of snow, ice, road salt, and potholes before we take out Mustangs out of winter hibernation. For those of us so afflicted, we’ve found this YouTube video of Mustangs doing what they do best, killing tires and making a joyful noise. Of course, those of you lucky enough to not be afflicted with such rotten winter weather are welcome to enjoy it as well.

The Youtube channel Ford Guy has gathered and uploaded the “Best Mustang Pullouts/Burnouts of 2017,” which is 11 minutes of pure bliss for Mustang fanatics like us, with enough burnouts, revving, and flybys to satisfy any appetite for tire destruction. It’s also great ammunition for those friends that think jokes about Mustangs running into crowds are still a funny, relevant joke. We all know at least one. Enough with the dead memes, please.

Mustang Burnout & Flyby Compilation 2017!

Surprisingly enough, the video starts out with a 4.0 V6-powered S197 doing a respectable burnout. Think of it as the opening act for the multitude of Mod motors, Coyotes, and classic pushrod 5.0s playing a collection of their greatest hits. Nothing sounds quite as good as a Mustang, and for those that agree, this is better than one of those weird ASMR videos.

Mustang

Our favorite moment in the video comes in around one minute and ten seconds, when possibly the bravest cat we’ve ever seen darts in front of a revving, snarling S197 with a body kit and a massive wing. While we don’t necessarily gel with the owner’s taste in mods, we appreciate that he waited for the cat to cross safely before letting loose. It looked to be a black cat, too, and while we’re not suspicious, we wish the owner of that gray Mustang the best of luck.
