Stolen Ford Mustang Gift Shows Up 28 Years Later
How’s this for a Christmas gift? A 1967 Mustang stolen nearly thirty years ago that was supposed to be given to you by your dad pops back up a few days before Christmas.
That’s exactly how one 40-year-old will be spending Christmas Eve after the classic Mustang that her now-deceased dad was planning to give her when she was a teen was recently discovered by police in Salinas, CA, according to the San Jose Mercury News.
We’re not sure what condition the Mustang is in considering we couldn’t track down any actual photos of the woman’s car. The one pictured is from the TMS photo archive. Still, we can’t imagine it being in too bad of shape given all the attention it’s garnering from local authorities.
What makes the story more amazing is that the woman still has the personalized license plates that were ordered for her classic Mustang nearly three decades ago, which is icing on the cake.
