HPE Mustang Puts Down 663 Horses at the Rear Wheels

It seems that every time we turn around another performance company is putting up some impressive numbers for the new Mustang, giving us a whole new appreciation for the car’s performance capabilities.

Some of the latest stats come in at 663 horses and 524 lb-ft of torque at the rear wheels. Is it any surprise those impressive stats come from Hennessey’s 2015 HPE700 Supercharged Mustang running on 93 octane fuel?

Hearing that engine peak right around the 30-second mark in the HPE video posted below definitely gets your imagination working on what the full possibilities are for the S550.
