TPMS and Andorid Apps?
Anyone do this yet?
I found a few FREE android apps that say they can READ PSI & temperature of each tire.
Our OEM TMPS system (upto 2014) only tells you once you are too high or too low.
The FREE software I found shows real time PSI and temps of tires..WOW
How great is that on track.
Anyone try this yet?
if yes which software and which TPMS sensor (I believe it needs to be bluetooth)

Wish I could read Chinese. It looks like most of these free apps enable the app developer's proprietary product.
Some have their own TPMS system, which may or may not be compatible with the Ford dash cluster (probably not)?
It looked like some also have a USB powered TPMS receiver, this might work because you'd leave your OEM system in place to keep the dash lights off, then use a separate set of sensors/receivers for your own use.
Very interesting.

I found several FREE android apps out there
BUT they need a bluetooth sensor....rare
I called my local Discount Tire about TPMS systems, they sell only Schrader products
I found a Schrader TPMS system (4 sensors and LCD display) on Amazon for $138
Still need to research more...
I like the idea to see PSI and temp in Real Time on track so I can can better adjust IDEAL tire pressures.
