you can get a set of Raxiom's on AM for about $239... may be worth it.. the dealer told me $221 yesterday. i can save $17 labor if I do it myself but I have to get them the light first.

I'd just do the Raxiom ones ... the smoked ones look really cool, and they're only $224.99 shipped, and you can get 6% off with their discount code ... making the pair only 211.49
I think you have to PM one of their reps over on S197forums though to get the code ...

I worked for Ford in 2010 and had to send Ford pics of the affected parts mostly exterior trim and all glass. If the pics were submitted and denied coverage you will need to call customer asstiance

The real problem is the cheap materials used in these cars from top to bottom. Looks good when you buy it. After a few years, crap quality parts break down. All because Big Corporate Ford cares about nothing but the $$$$.

complete crack
If you've got a crack I would get it documented. My tailight completely cracked yesterday. It was directly in front of me all day.
Waiting to hear back from Ford but I doubt they will cover it. Still a $900 part

The only way I see that happening is if you hit a pothole driving down the road. They do not look like they were caused by debris impacts.

I've got the same problem on my 2010. It started a couple of years ago, just tiny hairline cracks at first, but this spring I see that a piece has fallen right out. Will have to go talk to the dealer, but I'm thinking that with that old of a problem I'm on my own.

Tail light Cracks
I have the
I have the same issue with a 2015 Mustanf GT. No sign of impact and they submitted the picture twice and they said no to replace them. I just notice more cracks on the right side also. Will appreciate your help. I am going to go to the dealership to talk to the sales manager to see what they could do.

2014 mustang cracked tail light
So I bought my husband his mustang brand new in 2014. Since owning it he wrecked into a ditch, got it fixed at ford dealership. Then a coyote ran out in front of him and got that fixed at the dealership. So right after the coyote accident we started to notice water in his tail light. We took it to the dealership twice since and have been denied both times. Like i told them if my husband was the one who broke it I would pay to fix it but it started out of no where cracking and getting water into the tail light which now has caused 3/4 of the tail light to completely stop working. When we took it to the dealership they said that it wasn’t caused from the wheather or what ever that case may have been as to why it truly happened but tried to blame it on my husband. They said that that wasn’t a defect on the car that he had hit something but where the cracks are is not a place on the car that could reach another car at all. So should I call corporate to get this handled? I didn’t pay an extra $6,000 for a warranty on the car to not be able to use it when something is legitimately wrong with the car. Thanks!
