Hey-That's a good question and I'm not 100% sure why it had been pulled and I'm happy to dig into it for you but I'm concerned that we may not have it online in the future. If you're looking for another setup and if you don't have our discount code shoot me a PM and I'll get you set up!

Did I mention these should be a reasonable price?

I can confirm Ford Racing stopped producing this kit in August. I ordered my GT500 kit and the regular GT one for a friend from Autonation Ford White Bear Lake (formerly Toulsey) and found out at that time. Fortunately they had one GT kit in stock.

Hey Forkmachine, thanks for the confirmation. Any idea why?
Also I wonder whether Ford is still producing the replacement parts for the Boss ... I'd bet it's exactly the same set of parts as the GT kit, just twice as expensive.

I bought this kit last week from a dealer in Houston. Box says 2011-2012, so must have been sitting around a while...
They did match the TASCA price, which was below $600 (and TASCA could not get it, anyway).
The dealer told me that there were two more (in the dealer network) left showing as available in the computer.
I have yet to install it, hope it sounds as cool as it looks.

So, was this part always produced by Ford Racing for Ford (since it came standard on the Boss 302)? I'm glad I picked mine up a few months ago!

My god, man- install it already! As you can see in my signature, I've made quite a few changes to my Mustang- and none of them has enhanced my enjoyment more! Toss the restrictor plates when you install, and you will be hooked on your first cold start up (and fully addicted the first time you downshift ).

I've had mine on since 2012 and I'm absolutey thrilled with it.
The thought that these might become scarce is a really sad one...hopefully the aftermarket will step up.

Kooks and MRT make 3" versions. That's the way I would go, since it'll actually be a performance improvement.

Anyone have an answer for this?
This would mean that I'd have to replace my over the axle pipes or use a reducer, right?

well... I pulled in to get gas this morning, now I live in a smaller town in sothern oregon (I'm from SF Bay Area moved here 7 years ago) - there aren't that many 5.0's around here but this morning there was a DIB 5.0 - it's a wonderful color, not quite as fast as GHIG but - it's in my top 3... color aside, he started up and the sound was... meh - it was good, nice v8 but so very quiet....
I started mine up short afterwards and the gas attendant immediately told me how much better mine sounded.... his was a 14 all stock and auto.
anyhow - my long winded way of saying - why wait to install, enjoy now, and enjoy later!

Do you guys think that Ford will still be offering the replacement for the Boss 302? and if that would one would fit the GT? I wanted a set of these, but looks like I am way to late.

If you Google M-5220-MB for (2011+ GT) there still appear to be some out there. Also it looks like other exhaust companies will be filling the void.
Also it looks like the only difference between this and other FRPP kits is the H-pipe. If you can get, say, the 2005-2009 kit and the Boss H-pipe, it might work as well.
