Here’s a real beauty for you. This ’69 Mustang, known as “Stampede,” has been stirring up quite a buzz on the Autorama circuit.

Owned by Juan Martinez of Texas, the Super Blue Boss, known as Stampede, features 20-inch wheels, a complete carbon fiber body, and a 527 ci motor that has dynoed at 900-plus horsepower, according to Classic Car News.

“I bought this car five years ago with the intention of building a nice driver,” Martinez told the outlet. “One thing led to another, and five years later the Stampede was done.”

Well, I think it’s safe to say GAP Racing in Houston, which spearheaded most of the work on the car, certainly exceeded Martinez’s initial goal.

That custom paint job that really gives the Stampede its contemporary appeal was done by Randy Borcherding at the Painthouse in Cypress, Texas. Other unique features on the Stampede Boss include Air Ride shocks with magnetic ride, tubular front suspension and torque arm rear suspension.
