Which Mustang Should You Buy? A GT350 or a Roush Stage 3?
Quick, which would you buy, a Roush Stage 3 Mustang or the new Shelby GT350? Personally, I believe the GT350 is the way to go, but just to run down the massive differences between the two cars, a car dealership has put together the short video below explaining what separates the two performance Mustangs.
Given the opportunity, I think the decision between these two cars is a fairly simple one. On the one hand, you have a Roush Stage 3 Mustang GT, which costs a whopping $22,590 over the sticker of a Mustang GT. On the other, a Shelby GT350, which is only $15,000 over the base sticker of a Mustang GT. But what you get out of the GT350 is miles better than what you get out of what is fundamentally a modified Mustang.
Additionally, the lack of a supercharger and aftermarket parts allow the GT350 what will likely be a more maintenance-friendly ownership experience. And the GT350 is built directly by Ford, the Roush isn’t; it’s just an option you can have the dealer install.
The Roush is undoubtedly a good supercharged Mustang, but in my opinion, it just doesn’t have the balance that the GT350 has. But which would you all rather have in your stables?
