Does the V6 Mustang Deserve Respect? This ‘One Take’ Owner Thinks So

This comes as no surprise to anyone who has been reading my articles for the past year or so, but I can’t stand the V6 Mustang. I think the motor should have died when Ford released the EcoBoost. Not only does the turbo-four have more horsepower, more torque, and better gas mileage, but it also weighs less, making for a more spirited drive.

That said, there are those out there that are V6 faithful, and while I don’t honestly get it, they do. And they’re making some big horsepower and turning their cars into epically good playthings, as you can see in the The Smoking Tire‘s “One Take” video below.

Here we have a 2012 V6 Mustang, with a bunch of upgrades to both the suspension and the engine, getting whipped around the canyons by none other than Fox Body in Chief, Matt Farah.

While Matt’s surprised at how good this particular V6 Mustang is, I’m still not convinced. What do you all think, though, does the V6 Mustang deserve my respect? Or do you agree with me and think the V6 Mustang should just die off?
