Tony Brakohiapa Plans to Race at Pikes Peak with 1000HP Mustang
Yep, this is the exact same car with no real changes to it. It’s still pumping out 1,000 HP, it still uses the V7 supercharger, and it will get ethanol-based race gas from Ignite. However, most Formula Drift cars still make for awesome road racing cars and carry more grip than most people realize.
“Pro driver Tony Brakohiapa has been officially accepted into the 92nd Annual Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, June 29, 2014. Brakohiapa is based in the San Francisco Bay area, but grew up in Colorado and is looking forward to returning to the state for its renowned and historic hill-climb event, which he is taking on for the first time.”
You should also not be surprised if he does do well. Tony is not only a stunt driver for Driver’s Inc., but he is also an instructor for Simraceway at Sonoma Raceway and Audi Sportscar driving schools. We’ll be looking forward to seeing “Tony B” tackling the hill in a Mustang!
