Saleen Automotive recently filed its quarterly earnings report with the SEC. It makes for a terrible read. As of Sept. 30th, the company only had $7,261 left in the bank. It also owes the bank, its lawyers and its contractors quite a lot of money.
The White Label will be Saleen’s entry-level model that keeps the engine pretty much stock at 450 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. However, both the Yellow Label and the Black Label come with … wait for it: 640 horsepower.
There’s much to like about “Barricade”, the 2005 Saleen that gets all Decepticonned and copped-out in the first “Transformers” movie … you know, the one that has a plot that’s actually somewhat discernible.
