Supercharged Shelby GT350 Dynos at 819-RWHP
Lethal Performance Inc. Cranks Up the Power on Their Shelby GT350 With a Whipple Supercharger
Ever wonder what an 819-horsepower 2016 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 sounds like when unleashed on the dyno?
Well, know this: if you’re a diehard Mustang fan (which we imagine most here are), it sounds damn impressive. But don’t take our word for it, check out the video posted above.
But the car doesn’t just sound impressive. So to are the specs on this monstrous Shelby recreation, cooked up by the team at Lethal Performance Inc.

Building on the performance specs offered in the standard Shelby GT350, the Lethal Performance mod adds a 2.9-liter Whipple Supercharger, JMS Fuelmax fuel pump booster, Injector Dynamics ID1000s, and a custom Lund Racing Tune.
All that work adds up, too. According to the Lethal Performance team, their Shelby cranked out 819 rear-wheel hp (exactly) on the dyno at the Power by the Hour Performance competition in Boynton Beach, Florida.
The team at Lethal Performance has yet to provide any specific details on the speed of their souped-up Shelby. But we think it’s safe to assume that’s it’s pretty-darn fast, given that the 0 – 60 mph time of the standard 526-horsepower GT350 is 4.3 seconds.
Needless to say, having a chance to corner Lethal Performance’s monster Shelby mod on the track would be one memorable experience. Then again, we imagine it could be a little frightening, as well. After all, driving a monstrous 819-hp Mustang in and through turns on a raceway probably isn’t the typical track day for most.
