For months now, Ford has teased us again and again with the new Shelby GT350 and GT350R. We’ve gotten small snippets of information, short clips of it driving, and small exhaust teasers. However, we still haven’t heard the car under full acceleration for a prolonged period of time. Until now.

The new Shelby GT350R just made its UK debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the hands of former Top Gear Stig, Ben Collins. Collins took the new GT350R up the prestigious hill climb course and gave the crowd a helluva show, as you can see in the video below.

So without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, prepare yourself for the raw onslaught of fury that is the 5.2L flat-plane crank V8, which the Shelby GT350R has hiding under the hood. Behold the glory as it snakes its way up the hill climb course for the first time. Awesome. Simply, awesome.
