Beater Bomb Fox Body Might Have to Pull Back on the Power
It appears that Beater Bomb, a fairly well-known fixture on the drag racing scene, may have had a bit too much power in the Fox Body’s latest run on the drag strip.
Hard to imagine that kind of thing having a negative impact on a race, right?
Well, even too much power can be an impediment, because after switching from nitrous to turbo on the LSX powered Mustang, the car’s owner, Joey, found himself quickly losing ground in the race after popping a wheelie shortly after take-off.
Joey, however, didn’t seem too troubled by the entire ordeal, as highlighted in the video below, claiming that he still only lost by one car length in the race. But we imagine that in the world of Fox Body Mustang racing, there’s not much time to dwell on the mistakes of the past, since there’s always another would-be competitor lurking around the corner.
