Roush iRacing to Host Finale at Watkins Glen Track, May 8
Races include Jack Roush Jr., Corey Fergus, Joey Atturbury, Shelby Blackstock and others, as well as fans with iRacing experience.
The Roush Performance iRacing Mini-series returns with on-track battles that mix all-star pro racers with members of the public using the iRacing simulation platform. Races are one hour in length and feature a packed grid of nearly 50 drivers piloting the Ford GT GTLM race car. The next virtual race takes place at the Watkins Glen International track.
Originally kicked off back in mid-April, the mini-series has proven very popular, suggesting virtual racing truly has a place in the racing circuits.
Races feature professional race car drivers, including Jack Roush Jr., Corey Fergus, Joey Atturbury, Shelby Blackstock and others, as well as fans with iRacing experience and highly accomplished sim racers. Races have been action packed, with on-track incidences and fuel strategy keeping everyone on their toes as they fight for top position. All vehicles remain in locked configurations throughout the entire race.
