Real or Fake? Mustang Driver Falls Asleep and Goes for Wild Ride
Today’s media-centric society is constantly looking for the next funniest, or most hardcore video, which creates another problem — YouTube posers. These are people that go to great lengths to fake all kinds of acts on camera. But how can you really tell?
A perfect example of that is the video below. Head to the minute and a half mark and you’ll see what looks like a male driver falling asleep at the wheel of his Mustang, and going for a wild ride. Now, falling asleep at the wheel because of exhaustion or other illegal reasons isn’t that uncommon, but to have a camera mounted on that specific location is.
The video host does explain that this specific driver has experienced this before, but it still doesn’t totally explain why that particular camera angle. Once the driver’s head bobs to the side, presumably indicating he is asleep, the Mustang manages to completely drive off the road, smash a few fence posts, travel through a field at a decent rate of speed, and then smash some more stuff on his way out of the field. All without waking up.
Even if you’re a power sleeper, you’d think that bouncing up and down at speed while crashing into stuff would wake you up, right?
