New Shelby GT350 Production Numbers Leaked

It seems that landing one of the new Mustang Shelby GT350Rs will come down to a lucky 500 people, based on the number of the units of the car that will be sold by Ford Motor Co.

However, the odds of picking up the more street focused Shelby, the GT350, will be a lot better, as around 5,000 units of that model are expected to be sold annually. So there’s still hope.

These numbers are according to a recent post on Facebook by a Manny Galvin of Gaudin Ford, which has since been deleted, according to an Auto Evolution report.

If the numbers are correct, it certainly wouldn’t be the first time unit numbers were leaked on the s550. Before the launch of the base model, we were getting tons of info leaked on the car, most which proved to be right. My guess is that even if Galvin’s numbers are off, they aren’t off by much.

One thing’s for sure though: you’ll want to act quickly once Ford officially releases ordering info about the new line of Shelbys.
